Switching food

  • Gradually get your pet used to the new food

  • For a smooth transition, we recommend a period of 6-10 days, or longer if your pet is sensitive and/or difficult to switch to a new food

  • At the beginning of the transition, mix a (very) small portion (max. 1/4) of the new food with the usual food and increase the amount in small steps every day until the switch to the new food is complete

  • A slow/proper food transition is important so that your pet's digestive enzymes and gut flora can gradually adapt to the new food and no digestive problems (soft stool, diarrhea) occur

  • A slow/proper food transition should always be carried out, even when switching within a product category (wet food, dry food, fresh menus)
