Gradually accustom your pet to the new food
For a smooth transition, we recommend a period of 6-10 days, or longer if your pet is sensitive and/or has difficulty switching to a new food
At the beginning of the transition, mix a (very) small portion (max. 1/4) of the new food with the usual food and increase the amount in small steps each day until the switch to the new food is complete
A slow and proper food transition is important so that your pet's digestive enzymes and gut flora can gradually adjust to the new food and no digestive problems (soft stool, diarrhea) occur
A slow and proper food transition should always be carried out, even when switching within a product category (wet food, dry food, fresh menus)
