Weight: approx. 11-14 kg (F1), 5-7 kg (F5+)
The Savannah looks like a miniature leopard. To this day, fans of this beautiful breed are divided on whether it can be kept as a house cat in a species-appropriate way. Savannah cats are a crossbreed between different domesticated cats (usually Siamese cats) and the African serval (wild cats). The size of the Savannah varies depending on how many generations removed it is from its serval ancestor. However, it is recommended to keep the Savannah as a house cat only from the F5 generation onwards and to give it controlled outdoor access.
Savannah or Bengal cats look like little leopards. They are friendly, but also very active.
