Change of diet

  • Gradually accustom to the new feed

  • For a hassle-free transition, we recommend a period of 6-10 days, possibly over a longer period if the animal is sensitive and/or difficult to switch to a new food.

  • At the start of the transition, mix a very small portion (max. 1/4) of the new food into the usual food and gradually increase the amount each day until you have completely switched to the new food.

  • A slow/proper transition to a new diet is important so that the animal's digestive enzymes and gut flora can gradually adjust to the new food and prevent digestive issues (soft stool, diarrhea) from occurring.

  • A slow/proper transition of food should always be carried out, even when switching within a product category (wet food, dry food, fresh menus).

Preparation

  • Bowl content ready to feed

  • Open the tray, pour the contents into the bowl and feed the animal.
