  • Gradually accustom to the new food

  • For a smooth transition, we recommend a period of 6-10 days, possibly over a longer period if the animal is sensitive and/or difficult to switch to a new food.

  • At the beginning of the transition, mix a very small portion (max 1/4) of the new food into the usual food and gradually increase the amount every day until eventually completely switched to the new food.

  • A slow/proper transition to a new diet is important so that the animal's digestive enzymes and intestinal flora can gradually adapt to the new food and prevent digestive problems (soft stool, diarrhea) from occurring.

  • A slow/proper transition of food should always be carried out, even when switching within a product category (wet food, dry food, fresh menus).

Feeding

  • It tastes best at room temperature, fresh and in many small portions - in accordance with the natural feeding behavior of cats.

Recommended Feeding duration

  • Initially up to 4 or 6 months (chronic liver or kidney disease)

  • 2 - 4 weeks (acute kidney disease)

  • It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before use or extending the feeding duration.

Contraindications
