Feeding & Storage
It tastes best at room temperature, especially for dogs prone to a sensitive stomach.
Please store in a cool and dry place.
Store in the refrigerator after opening and consume promptly.
Recommended feeding duration
Initially up to 4 or 6 months (chronic liver or kidney disease), 2-4 weeks (acute kidney disease)
It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before use or extending the feeding duration.
Contraindications
Not suitable for puppies, pregnant and nursing bitches, during convalescence.
Change of Diet
Gradually accustom to the new feed
For a smooth transition, we recommend a period of 6-10 days, possibly over a longer period if the animal is sensitive and/or difficult to switch to a new feed.
At the start of the transition, mix a very small portion (max 1/4) of the new food into the usual food and increase the amount in small steps every day, until eventually completely switched to the new food.
A slow/proper food transition is important to allow the animal's digestive enzymes and intestinal flora to gradually adjust to the new feed and prevent digestive problems (soft stool, diarrhea) from occurring.
A slow/proper transition of food should always be carried out, even when switching within a product category (wet food, dry food, fresh menus).
