Rather atypical for a terrier, the Boston Terrier is a spirited and alert four-legged friend who does not tend to nervousness or hyperactivity. He can also be relaxed and thus does well in more exciting environments.
Due to his cheerful and lively nature, he gets along especially well with other →sporty dog breeds, but is generally a very compatible companion. It’s no coincidence that he is referred to as the "American Gentleman" in America. The Boston Terrier is also often kept as a →family dog, as he is loving with children. His open-minded bulldog genes likely come into play here.

Training and Care

Due to his high attachment, being alone can be a bit more challenging. For this reason, you should start training early and not leave him alone for too long. The breed is also a suitable candidate as a →office dog.
As an active little guy, especially in his mind, the Boston Terrier enjoys obedience, dog dancing, or agility. But learning →commands or tricks is also sufficient for him. The main thing is some activity together with his humans for body and mind.
