Character and Nature

The Maltipoo is still not a registered breed - thus, there are no standards for selecting and breeding Maltese and Poodles. The Maltipoo is a small surprise package - it is difficult to predict which character traits will prevail.

Experience shows that Maltipoos have a playful and cheerful nature. Both Maltese and Poodles are known to be skeptical of strangers at first. This also applies to the Maltipoo: it takes a little time for the little four-legged friend to open its big heart. Once that happens, you can expect a very affectionate and cuddly companion by your side.

Some Maltipoos tend to be more vocal towards other dogs, while others are less so. Generally, these little furballs are extremely brave.

Training and Care

A curly coat like that of the Maltipoo needs good care. Daily brushing and regular visits to the dog groomer are on the agenda when it comes to proper care and keeping of the four-legged friend. Due to its size, it is well-suited for living in an apartment - however, its energy and need for movement should not be underestimated. Like any dog, it needs several long walks outdoors every day. Due to its curiosity, a varied environment is important.

The question of training also depends on which parent breeds were involved. Since each →Maltipoo puppy is characteristically unique, training can be easier or more difficult. In any case, consistent training is important, ideally starting with the arrival of the furry friend. Especially because of its teddy look, owners often tend to let it get away with a lot. This is not good for the Maltipoo: with its self-assured nature, it needs clear boundaries.

Our Mini Line: Perfect for small gourmets

Specifically for →Maltipoo nutrition, we offer tailored products that are perfectly suited to the needs of this breed, as well as our →Mini Line. Not tasty? Doesn't exist! Small and toy breeds have very special demands when it comes to food: a small jaw that only really enjoys chewing small food pieces. The energy requirement is relatively higher than that of large dogs - precise portion sizes are therefore even more important. And of course, they are little gourmets! With our Mini Line, we not only meet the special health requirements of small dogs for their food but also ensure that our smallest customers enjoy it thoroughly.

Carefully selected raw materials of the best quality combined with a fluffy consistency, a special recipe, and a pleasant smell allow for particularly high acceptance of our Mini wet food - even among picky little four-legged friends!

Our Mini dry food also impresses with its special recipe and high-quality raw materials. The extra small kibbles finally allow our smallest customers to truly enjoy dry food and provide an even better feeding experience with maximum enjoyment.

The practical sizes are also impressive: Our 100g can contains the perfect amount for small dog breeds, so no large can needs to be stored in the fridge for days. Our Mini dry food comes in practical, smaller bags than usual - for more freshness in the bowl.
